Ariel M. Barbre is a Junior Associate Attorney with the Law Office of Dawn Dell’Acqua – APC and the Case Manager for A New Start Mediation Center. She is a Southern California native, having grown up in San Diego’s North County. After graduating high school, she attended the University of California, Davis to earn her undergraduate degree in History and Art History. After that, Ariel M. Barbre attended what is now Western Michigan University’s Law School in Lansing, Michigan. While in law school, Ariel volunteered in the community and clerked for a criminal defense attorney and public defender. She took special classes to focus on estate planning, elder care, family law, and bankruptcy and later interned at the Law Office of Dawn Dell’Acqua in San Diego, where, in 2010, she was hired full-time as the Law Office’s Law Clerk. In March 2017, Ariel obtained her license to practice law in California and began her career as a professional Family Law Attorney. She has assisted clients in Family Law matters and Estate Planning with our office since 2009. Ariel in her free time enjoys teaching and demonstrating lace making and knitting. Her knit pieces and homemade jam have won awards at the San Diego County Fair.
